Residents of a community in Kwara State have called for urgent military deployment following reports that armed groups delivered handwritten threat letters to the area, raising fears of a possible attack.

According to media reports, the letters allegedly warned residents and contributed to growing tension within affected communities, with locals expressing concern over the security situation and the possibility of renewed violence.

Community members reportedly appealed to federal authorities and security agencies to strengthen security presence and establish more proactive measures to protect lives and property. Some residents said fear and uncertainty have disrupted normal activities and increased anxiety among local populations.
